17th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE

MEDITERRANEAN PHYTOPATHOLOGICAL UNION (MPU)

The 17th MPU International Congress, entitled "New Phytopathology Frontiers of Research and Education for Plant Health and Food Safety was held in Bari (IT) from July 7 to July 10, 2025.

The conference, which attracted a wide audience of participants from around the world, also focused on issues related to Xylella fastidiosa in various crops, with a particular focus on the olive tree quick decline caused by the subspecies pauca, strain ST53 of the pathogen.
